I am having a hard time dealing with Verizon fios to get rental fee removed from the account. I have called the customer service twice before I finally realized that I was still being charged for rental even though I have returned the router in store. I got the same router G1100 from a friend who previously purchased the router from Verizon. I have been using the router for >2 months now and just realized that I still pay for the rent every month. I've been calling Verizon every month to get this taken care of but it never worked... Anyone had a similar experience and knows how to resolve the issue?

Call your states Public Utilities Commission or Public Service Commission via google search and tell them what is going on.
contact http://www.fcc.gov and file a complaint with them.
