2 months ago someone bought 2 cards each for 100 dollars I called the first day they showed up in a email. They told me to wait to see if they show up on my bill so I waited for 1 month then called back they this was going to be on my texted bill so I waited another month
Then when the bill was due I tried to have it removed from my bill. I'm disabled and no extra money to buy gift cards for anyone. I have been with Verizon for 8 years and never bought anything over the phone and never missed a payment. They told me they would take off 70 dollars a month for 3 months. I .needed the whole 200 taken off. I can't afford a 400 payment. They told me I have 2 days to pay the 400 hundred dollars. This is how they treat someone who has been with them for 8 years. It's a shame. I will tell all my family and friends and anyone else I know how they treated me it's a shame

If fraudulent purchases are being made on your bank account, you should contact your bank or credit card company and dispute the charges. Credit card companies usually won't hold you responsible for fraudulent charges and you would have gotten your money back. Don't know who you spoke with at Verizon, but considering how their call center is overseas, they may not have understood what was going on and/or didn't route you to the Fraud Department. If I find the number for that, will update my post.
[update] Try this number for Verizon's Fraud Department: 888-483-7200. Good luck, and keep an eye out on your bank accounts because with these situations, the crooks can begin with a relatively small charge to an account hoping you don't notice, and then later will try to clean you out.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
