International calling added to my account

I had issues with one of the phone lines on my account needing a new phone that led to more issues. The original new phone was being resolved but in the meantime on April 29, 2024, the representative I was speaking with, John, crammed my account with international calling. This is something that wasn't requested to be added. We could say this was by mistake, but it clearly wasn't as the current Verizon rep and her manager are saying nothing can be done because I must have requested it to be added and also received an email. They've mentioned I can request the recordings by legal resources but that this is the only way for anyone to confirm what's happened.

After 30 minutes of being on hold and being told that there is nothing they can do to credit the account, they are now going to review the account to make sure that the line in question (my mother-in-law) didn't travel outside the US or call international numbers.

Waiting for a response but be diligent about your calls and check your emails after you speak with a representative. This isn't the first time and I'm sure it's not the last time.

I've been with Verizon for over 13 years and spend $400-600 each month. It might be time to see if another provider would be interested in this business. Customer Service needs an overhaul.
