Lack of communication

Being a long time customer I have never had any problems with any kind of services. Until recently, I have paid my bill with my bank on line for years. This is my CHOICE in paying my bills. Never have I been late on paying amount due before due date. After two months of issues with my account. I found out that Verizon refuses my bank transfer for what reason other than they want me to pay on their website.  Does anyone else have this issue?

Hello oldie-21. We're sorry you're having issues with your payments. What happens when you try to use your usual payment? Is this with a savings or a checking account?

My checking account I have used for years paying my bill with Verizon. Wondering why I was not told by Verizon they did not accept my payment?I find this out from my bank.

What alarmed me is that Verizon emailed payment was due in two days. I knew the payment was already out of my account. After talking to both Verizon customers service and my online bank department of my bank.  My bank sent an electronic check to help payment to be accepted by Verizon.
