Lost Auto Pay Discount

I've had my Auto Pay Paper Free Billing Discount of $10/mo. for having Fios Home Internet and TV for over four years using my checking account. Recently this was lowered to $5/mo.

A couple of Months ago, I got a Verizon Visa and changed my Auto Pay method from Checking to Verizon Visa. I received a notification that said I was receiving the Auto Pay Discount, but on my next bill, I lost the $5 discount.

I've been told different things by support. One said it should work for the Verizon Credit Card, but it is not working for you. Another said it is a little known secret, that I have to have Verizon Wireless. Another said, it may take 1-2 billing cycles and gave me a $5 credit. Today, I was told it takes at least two billing cycles and it is in the terms, so there would be no credit.

My account says "You're receiving a discount because you're enrolled in both Auto Pay and paper - free billing and maintain an active account. Payments must be made via Auto Pay using a bank account, debit card or the Verizon Visaยฎ Card - all other credit cards are not eligible for the discount."

I'm considering changing back to my checking account, but I just want a real answer on what to do if someone knows.
