Hi there; I'm a long time Verizon wireless customer and also am Senior and am fortunate to receive the loyalty discount of $15 / mo. I've heard other customers receiving up to $40 for the same and many have $25. I realize the amount may be at the mercy of timing and eligibility. I've also heard that sometimes when the Verizon CS agent was attempting to adjust/fix, they inadvertly ended up causing the discount to go away. I'm wondering if I can ask for more discount without screwing up the existing discount? Is there a seasoned agent that can look into this with any "accidents" happening? Thanks, Mark

I suspect the other customers have multiple lines and/or bundled services such as internet + phone all with Verizon, because there are discounts for having several lines or more than one service.
There's a 55+ plan for customers in Florida which I presume is at a lower rate than the usual plans, but if you're not in Florida, you're out of luck.
If you're otherwise happy with your service, wouldn't try to mess with things too much, because you know the saying "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"...I too have read my share of stories here of things going awry when someone tried to "fix" something which was all right previously.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
