Loyalty discount eligibility

 I was offered a loyalty discount if I switched to an unlimited plan. I was unsure at the time and the agent told me to absolutely think about it and it would be available at any time. This was a permanent loyalty discount. I called back a few months later and the agent said that he needed to request the discount and I would get a notification in 7 to 10 business days. This did not happen so I called back and was told it did not look like a loyalty discount was an option. I did a chat session a few days later where I was also told it was not available. I will be moving my services to a new provider. It's a shame, I was willing to pay more for Verizon as I had never had any issues. This was my first time asking for something. I have been with Verizon for over 20 years, you would think that would make me eligible for a loyalty discount.  It is a shame it ended like this.

 I  just got an offer today for a loyalty discount, $25 because I have 2 lines. We will see what happens over the next few months. I know from reading other posts that I dare not try to get my corporate discount as that might remove this loyalty discount. I will reply here in a couple of months after I see what my bill truly looks like.
