Missing gift cards

I was supposed to get 2 $100 gift cards for signing up with Verizon. I chose to receive one via email and the other via mail. When I check the status, it says the one I was to receive via email was sent on 8/5, but it is not in my inbox or my junk mail folder. Now when I go to check the status on my account, the page refuses to even load. This seems to be a common issue and I'm wondering if Verizon is doing this on purpose to avoid paying out all these gift cards, or whether there is an employee who is fraudulently claiming them when they are supposed to go to customers. How am I supposed to receive my promised $200 in gift cards?
