My Verizon bill was recently increased. I compared my last view bills and noticed I was only receiving a $5 discount on two or our mobile phones (was $10). I spoke with customer service and was informed that because these two phones were on "old" plans, the discount was reduced to $5 from $10. Their only solution was to purchase a "new" plan for each of these phones. I don't want to change the plans for these phones. The new plan would actually cost more than the current plan. I have been a Verizon customer for almost 20 years. I had a similar situation recently and had to change the plans on three of our phones. It seems to me that I am being punished for being a loyal long term customer and that this just an avenue to "force" people to subscribe to the new plans.
