I switched from att to verizon in Jan 2023. At that time i was promised moon and stars besides the Mobile + Home discount. I have been a Fios customer for more than 10 years. However, even after 15 months of switching my mobile plans to verizon I have not received the Mobile + Home discount which is one of many things i was told first. Every time I try to register I keep getting a message contact customer service. I have been trying to resolve the issue by calling customer service almost every month. But, no one has been able to help. Every time I have to go over the story repeatedly to have the agent understand the issue. Every time they ask me same details and ask me to use the link in the web site to register for the discount. Finally they say they will "look into" it.
The last agent I talked to told me there has been no update on the incident ticket which was created 2 weeks ago. He told me that he'll call me to update the status once it's updated. No one has called me so far.
I feel betrayed by Verizon and I am planning to switch back to ATT now since I need to add additional lines. Will never even think about Verizon.

Hello, jojosiva, we know it's important that you receive your Mobile + Home discount. You mentioned you're running into an issue when trying to add the discount. Have you been able to link your Fios and wireless My Verizon accounts? Do you have the option to Add Mobile + Home in My Verizon?

I have linked my verizon mobile account to my Fios account. Even after that if I try to register for the mobile home discount I get an error message asking to contact customer service.

There are some exclusions to the Mobile + Home discount. First, it applies to Fios home internet service, so if you have Fios TV service, doesn't qualify. Prepaid mobile lines are also excluded.
If, however, the OP has both Fios internet service and postpaid mobile lines through Verizon, I fail to understand why getting this discount has been such a hassle. If Verizon wants to offer promos, they ought to work without having to solve some kind of puzzle. Getting new customers is great, but retaining customers long term is important too.
