I have a verizon one-bill account that bundles our residential and wireless services. We joined verizon wireless last year and at the same time renewed a 24/mo contract for residential services. In order to bundle the renewal we closed the old account and opened up a new one in my name since it is on the wireless account. At no point have I ever been charged the box rental. We've had the same box since we started verizon residential services several years ago. I called and the representative said they are not sure why the charge was never there and just showed up. I was basically told that it is what it is and I'm lucky that I am not being retroactively charged for box rentals.
Really confused here. I'm already paying far too much to verizon every month. Now $20 more without explanation? Please advise.
