Since I purchased a cell phone for my son about 3 years ago, I have been charged for both CA ( state I reside in) & CO (state my son resides in). I purchased his phone online through the Verizon app and it was mailed to him in Co. I do not understand why I have to pay taxes for both states. Please help.
