I JUST got a new iPhone 14+ on the fifth. I desperately needed a new phone and I had been contemplating switching providers because of the deals Verizon included, and was excited to get a new device after 2 years. Now I am bummed because I am on my way to return my brand-new phone and apple watch. I am being billed over 230 dollars for my first bill and I’m stunned at the price. I had been placed on a protection plan for both my devices which I did not consent to (only one- the phone) and I only took the protection plan because the representative told me I would not be able to get AppleCare, which also turns out to be a lie. Another falsity Initially the rep at my Verizon store told me that I would not be billed until January and now I’m supposed to pay this new bill by the 27 of December. Two days after Christmas, which already is another hassle. After calling and speaking to customer service on the phone they’re telling me that this date is not movable permanently but only temporarily. So after changing my date temporarily I went back to my Verizon store where a different representative told me he couldn't help me and it was above him. Now I am stuck at a loss because I feel like I've been misled. I want to return my device but I've traded my old one in and I have no idea if my store will allow me to have it back. I want the phone returned and the outrageous sales tax back as well. Can anyone help me in further steps to take or any advice?
