So in April 2023 and March 2024 free devices with new device or line. Due to not paying attention to autopay my spouse didn’t catch we were being charged. Stopped autopay end of June 2024 to deal with it spending sometimes upward of 3 plus hours a week and being told it’s fixed. Yet now our bill has tripled and no credits will be applied till Sept!!! Looking at all the bills and after all this time with customer service we see they never applied the trade-in credits of $800.00. Keep being told “Has to be researched, will call back!” Or it’s all taken care of and then the bill doubles then triples..
This isn’t the first time a few years back we did new devices for the holidays under a buy one get one free! They never applied the promotion and after a year we had to spend almost 6 hours a week to fix it, they owed us over $1500.00 that would be paid out monthly over what was left of the device terms.
there’s nothing right about this situation or that it’s regularly happening and maybe the FCC needs to research and just charge and let them spend hours a week on the phone fixing it to have it paid out over 10 years of whatever is decided that Verizon has no say in.
