Online Billing Issue

I am a new verizion fios Costumer and Needed to pay my firt bill which was due Yesterday. Due to a circumstances beyond my contro and despite Verizon hounding me via email l I only realized i needed to pay the bill 7pm. I made my way after work to my local veroizon store only to realize that they dont accept payments there and the nearest store was across town and would surely close befor ei had the chance to arrive. 

So i go home and log on to veroizon. 

My internet is lagging... 


Was it because the weather? Maybe because My bill was due and the were ready to shut off service? 

After several atempts i finally put my credit card info in and hit send.. 

however afteran hour or so no confirmation email..

so i try again this time it was AFTER the due date...  so this is two times but this time i tried only half the amount incase i should pay twice. 

i wake up today to a text and emails from versin saying that i STILL owe them the full amount. I log on to my credit card and account on verison and it seems as though nothing was paid.   this is frustrating. i always pay bills on time but this makes me think that verizon sets things up so there costumers end up paying more out of pocket. Not happy. but glad i am not on contract. Time warner Cable was Never this bad.
