The Web Page for one time online payments has changed for my November Bill due Decmeber 5th.
The FIOS and Verizon Wireless web page payment pages have always been different.
One only allows you to enter dates within 2 weeks.
The other was any date up to the due date.
Now the FIOS page will not allow me to enter a December date at all.
And I am within two weeks.
Do not bother suggesting auto pay. I've had to spend up to 3 hours at a time getting billing errors fixed. All confirm errors on the Verizon end.
One time monthly payments worked until now.

Simple answer you log on to the payment portal either a day before it’s due and process the payment.
future date payments use to be great if you were not going to be around, but technically Verizon does not have to use it. Our invoices state when they are due. Mailing the check or money order usually 5-7 days in advance, you can pay at the store with cash, checks or credit or debit cards BEFORE the due date.
or pay online as I said above. The payment to them is payable in many ways and floating to future date may have been removed.
and I agree never use auto pay for any company. Never give companies direct access to your funds. As you know things do happen.

I have been checking daily.
It allowed me to select a December date this afternoon.
It was the December tab that did not work. It allowed a November future date.
