Overcharging

I currently have one phone line, without a device payment plan, and internet. $85 for the phone, $45 for the internet. My last payment made was in July for a little over a couple hundred dollars. Somehow for the month’s of September and august, my bill for those two lines is racked up to $504. This is after countless conversations with customer service, and promises made by them that $109 from one rep, and $50 from another rep was promised to be added as credit to my bill. Neither were. And that was supposed to go thru due to the fact that several days out of the months (aug-current) my phone service was not working. I couldn’t send texts for a week, couldn’t do calls for another, data would abruptly stop working. Recently my phone and internet were shut off due to failure of payment. I explained I’d need to come in on Nov. 1st to get a better explanation of the charges on my bill, before paying such a high amount. I arranged a promise to pay, and wjth the help of an agent, my services were restored. (This is just the other day) within less than TWO HOURS, my phone suddenly stops working. I find a Wi-Fi hotspot to pull up to and get ahold of customer service. This person continues to tell me, that he understood that my service had just been restored two hours prior to it getting re-disconnected, but simply had no understanding or sympathy to my frustration in that, and continued ti say it’s not his problem and my only option is to pay full amount immedietly ti restore service despite the promise to pay arranged, and despite me already being in contact with customer service that same day,  and having it already restored earlier that day. He gave me a number ti call relating to the overcharges on my bill. I called, provided my number when asked, and was told by a pre recorded voice that a represenative was not available to assist me in the matter and my only provided option to restore service was to immedietly pay full amount with the provided link sent to me in a text, then shortly after days thankyou goodbye and hangs up. No matter what customer service number I call it’s the same thing. They won’t even let me speak to a human to get these unauthorized and fraudulent charges on my account! I wonder how many other people get unauthorized charges without any option to dispute or question the charges every day just like this by Verizon.

This is the story of my life with Verizon Every. Single. Month this happens to me. I paid out over $400 one month (my bill should be approximately $165)  only to be told the next month that I still owed $188 dollars from the prior month. Instead of getting promotional credits on certain lines that I have I actually get charged, random perks mysteriously added on to my account, the list goes on.

Hello, Nikki815. Help is here as there should never be any surprises regarding your bill. Please share more info. Which random perks are added to your account? What promotional credits are you referencing? A trade-in? Please clarify as we are here for assistance.
