I am a Verizon client for 10+ years and work in the mortgage industry. I have a client that is supposed to close on thier new home in one week but a collection with Verizon was keeping that from happening. So they paid the collection but they are having trouble getting a Letter of Satisfaction which our underwriter is requiring for final approval. The client and my team have been on the phone for 5+ hours today trying to get help with this. Can you please tell us the best person to contact? This is very urgent. This family may lose their home without Verizon's help.

Hello I'm having  the same issue . Filed the request with my lender and Verizon sends the fax with the letter of satisfaction to the wrong number . Then tells you there is nothing more they can do when you call in bc they don't have access to the mortgage team . And to start  over with a new request and hope they send it to the right number - Incredible . Mother in law went into a nursing home a couple years ago and this is the only thing on her report and is stopping her from buying a house and getting out . We paid off this account and have been trying to get a letter of satisfaction for the mortgage company but they can't email it and you can't call them . Spoke to a Chinese woman named Fred

Having the same issue. Mother in law went into a rehabilitation center some time ago and Verizon went to collections. We paid the collections off. Moving forward she's trying to buy a home and get out of the facility but this account is still showing on her credit report . We file for the letter of satisfaction through our mortgage lender and Verizon sends it to the wrong fax number.  We call back in only to find out you can't actually reach this team and you should file a new request. Closing is supposed to be on Friday and this is the only thing determining if she gets out or stays in.

Day 7 of trying to get a letter of Satisfaction from the recovery dept. Our lender has faxed the request multiple times and followed up with the support number. The support team says they do not have any kind of access to the team who handles faxed request they can only monitor status of the account They said they are a offline team . I was given an email address for any issues . I gave this to my lender and she has sent an email . As if right now she has sent 4 requests to the fax number. The request teams do update the status in their system as complete and say they fax back the letter but the lender has not received a single fax back .

So understand the support team who handle phone calls doesn't have access to the team who handle the faxed requests. They only monitor status and look up accounts.

I reached out to support on here multiple times and one agent was trying to help but then another agent named Joe took over and said we can't help you. After this support stopped answering my messages much like the fax team does requests
