Paying Taxes in two states

This has been going on for TWO YEARS. We moved from Illinois to Florida in 2022 but are still being charged for Illinois taxes as well as Florida on our bill. This is the third time I have tried to get this resolved. I thought it was resolved last month. I paid over $200 extra and they gave me 50 bucks. This is getting ridiculous it cannot be that hard. I’m so frustrated. I live in Florida I should only be charged in. Somehow one of my four phones is being billed correctly three are not. How can I get it right for one but not all three?

Thank you so much for the info. By any chance, are the lines being charges taxes financing a device with a device payment agreement?

Reason why I ask is that some states don't charge a device's state taxes upfront, and they are instead charged monthly. This means that the taxes for Illinois will fall off once those devices are paid off.

I'm so sorry you are having billing issues. We want to get this corrected. When you log in online as the account owner are all lines showing the correct home address? -Joe

Yes. I show all lines the service and billing are both the correct FL address. And it’s so odd that only 3 of the 4 lines are being over charged.

Yes they are. That makes total sense. The three that are being charged were purchased in IL the other was California. Thank you for clarifying! I will watch the tax when they are paid in full. Thanks again!!!!
