It says I am not eligible for a payment arrangement or promise to pay on the app. Even on chat it says not eligible online or through an agent I can only pay full balance. Is there a reason for this? I only need for 4 more days and I’m only late like 3 days.

Hello, Almedin94. We definitely understand the need to have working service, and we always want to do all that we can to ensure we provide you options for a payment arrangement as we do know that life happens sometimes. Help is here. If there has been a history of broken payment arrangements or returned payments or even multiple suspensions for non-payment in the past, this could cause the reason why a payment arrangement isn't allowed at this time. With that said, we can only advise to contact our Financial Services department by dialing *611 directly from your Verizon phone or 866-266-1445 from any phone to speak with them or make the full payment of the past due amount via your online My Verizon account.

Mine says the exact same thing & im not even late yet. I’ve never broken a promise to pay, never had service disconnected. I don’t understand why I suddenly can’t arrange one. Maybe it’s a system wide glitch going on?

I have the same issue. Currently have a scheduled payment arrangement, and I was disconnected and can’t talk to a human! The system keeps saying I have to pay in full and I’m not allowed to speak to an agent! I think it’s time to switch providers. I have been a customer for over ten years!

We shouldn't need to do that as loyal customers for over 10 years. Taking away the option to speak to an actual human with your company is insane and no other company out there does this no matter how far behind an account is.

I have the same issue I need to schedule a payment arrangement currently out of town and my bank account got suspended. I won’t be able to get to the bank until I’m back in town. I either need to have a payment arrangement now or I need someone to contact me so I can just close my entire account and switch everything to T-Mobile

I’ve just been put on the same restriction - can’t set up payment arrangements, or future promise to pay but have never missed a payment arrangement and service was never disconnected for non payment- my due date falls on a day that doesn’t correspond with paydays so because I live paycheck to paycheck I’m unable to pay until the end of the month so it’s scheduled for then each time. And now I have to pay extra to move my due date grrrrr

I had the same problem and it was more of an accident that I cancelled my arrangement I wanted to keep what I had but I accidentally pressed cancel and they took that as a cancelled payment …I don’t think that is fair

I’m having the same issue. I’ve always had to make a promise to pay due to larger bills being due at the beginning of the month. Never paid the arrangements late, not once and now all of the sudden I’m not eligible for promise to pay or ANY payment arrangement. Chatted with an agent for AN HOUR and then they stopped responding after telling me their financial services department would call me in a few minutes. Never called me. Called today and they had me on the phone for an hour again to tell me there was nothing they could do because I used all of my allotted arrangements. So after 5 years of having to use the promise to pay, now they tell me I’ve used them all?! And the fact that if you try to change your billing date, you basically have to pay a double payment depending on when you try to change the due date. There’s always something that is messed up and I’m about ready to just switch my service to another provider. I’m fed up.

I'm pretty sure it's standard to only have an allotment of promise to pays. It's not supposed to be used every bill. Just in emergency.

The best way to make a payment arrangement is to use this link here: https://www.verizon.com/support/promise-to-pay-faqs/ If you're already past due, please remember that a payment arrangement does not guarantee service. If you're unable to make a payment arrangement, please reach out to the Financial Services Team by calling 866-266-1445.
