I purchased a new Pixel phone last fall and was sent an email (which I still have) offering me a free season of NFL Sunday Ticket… assuring me I would never be charged the $449 cost. Shortly thereafter my credit card was indeed charged for $449. I have reached out multiple times for assistance with this and been told it would be handled. In fact the first person I spoke to said that oh yes a bunch of people had that same issue and they’d be fixing it soon. I finally also opened a payment investigation…on 12/27/23. The customer support person told me I’d hear back in 3-5 days and it is now February! So I’ve been paying interest on a $449 charge I should never have received… since September. It is crazy. If I weren’t going to be on the hook for the remainder of the phone I got in last year I would absolutely leave Verizon at this point. I have never had so much trouble resolving a wrongful charge! Below is the email I got that started this whole mess:
