Phone bill, rude billing assistant

We got our bill today, internet and phone service $104.00! We talked to "Gus" about two weeks ago to get our bill lowered from $74.73 to $50.00 a month. now we get hit with a larger bill instead of a reduced price as promised. Wife talked to a rep named "Patrick" who tried to sell us a plan we didn't want, and was rude to my wife besides.  Was proposing a plan that was $59.00 per month if he could get it. Then transferred my wife to someone who wanted to ask her a few questions. Wife gave her our account info, she said there was not our name associated with the account. Been with Verizon for 30 years, no problem. Bill  arrives every month with my name on the account.  So....besides not knowing what the hell your reps are doing, being rude to my wife, promising to give us a lower rate, instead I get a larger bill!  Your customer service  stinks. We'll be looking for another provider shortly.
