Price adjustment within 30 day return

I bought an IPHONE 15 on Sept 6 for $999. The new iphone 16's came out for pre-order a week later at same price. Now the IPHONE 15 is being advertised as $899. I have been on the phone for hours with the chat bot and an agent who cannot seem to help me. I either get hung up on or stuck in an automation loop.

jenniferpanzer, sorry you've been having some trouble getting suppport. Before we break out the Panzer IVs, I'd be happy to help and see about price options for the situation. As part of that just to get a few general details, where did you make your purchase? Was it at a store or online? You still have that iPhone 15 you purchased?

Still nothing. I am not interested in "chatting" with the automation feature. Just this experience makes me hate Verizon and want to switch providers. UGGGHHHHHHH!

I purchased the phone online through the app. I gave the phone to my daughter for her birthday.

While that's unfortunate you bought your phone at $999 and then a week later it goes on sale for $100 less, this sort of thing could happen anywhere.  I've certainly had my share of experiences buying something and then it goes on sale shortly afterwards, but the store won't take the clothing or whatever back and won't refund the difference in pricing either.

not helpful. I could have just returned the phone but instead I have been doing this for 30 days : ) Price adjustment with a receipt within 30 days of purchase is common practice for most businesses. Trying to speak with a real person is near impossible.
