Why you think it is Ok to set a trap to your customers? “Free iPhone” to trapped them to sign a 3 years to pay the expensive plans, and you don’t think that is enough “need to charge more to provide better service”. In fact, you are giving your “3 year contract” customer very poor phone data plan services because you know they can not do anything. The only way is to break the contract and pay full price to buy these “free iPhones”. You guys already losing huge credits from your customers. Don’t make our customers feel shame in you.

Hello, dghagner. Help is here as we don't want you to feel this way. I know I would want all the info upfront before making a three-year commitment. Just to confirm, did you review the terms and conditions prior to setting us service with us? Just want to make sure that you wer in the know of eveything going on with your account.

I can't speak for pricing increases while you're on a contract, but all the major carriers are all in the same ballpark as for how much their service plans cost?
Poor cellular service is a random thing of which there are several potential causes. And one carrier can be fine while another is awful in the exact same location. Since it turned out Verizon is not all that great in your area, you can either stick it out for the remainder of your contract or depending on how much the balance remaining on your iPhone is, pay off the rest of it so you can port out now.
The other guys have similar deals on a regular basis to where there's even a TV ad now slightly mocking these "free phone" deals.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.
