Problem with bill pay

I find it annoying to attempt logins on the Verizon website for bill payment. Why is it so complicated? I have a visual symbol, my ID, and a password. Why must I also answer some arcane security question?
I use this access one time per month. Can we make it more simple to pay my bill please? And - to save your time - I do not want auto-pay.
