Refund for Unreturned Equipment Issue

I’ve called Verizon 3 times regarding the equipment I sent back for 5g home internet and asking for a refund. They received it one day before the grace period ended but I was still charged. 2 out of the 3 times I called I was assured I would get a refund but never got it, this was the 3rd month that I called, and was finally told I was not receiving a refund due to my return being past the grace period even though during my 1st call I was told that I returned in time. I’m down $544 dollars and it’s something I really need to resolve. I don’t know if I just call again or just deal with being down $544. Like Verizon has the equipment can I really not get a refund???

I am having a similar issue! I have been told at least 4 times that my refund would be in my account by a certain date and it never is. I have been going into a local corporate Verizon store for months now and still no refund!
