Refund ... still waiting

What a joke. Contacting customer service is a complete circus. I’ve been waiting OVER. 8 MONTHS for my refund after cancelling Verizon service. What is going on? They can certainly take your money that day but refuse to refund money due to you?? Am I getting paid interest also??? So glad I left the circus.

Normally the company has to refund the deposit within two months. I would contact your states Public Utilities Commission or Public Service Commission or Department of Finical Service in your state via google search as well as http://www.fcc.gov and file an online complaint with them to get the deposit back.

normally a deposit is forfeit if you did not keep the service for the contract period or you miss a payment which starts the clock all over again etc.

it can come in the form of a post card check, credit to your card it was taken from but not in cash.

WHAT?????  Verizon needs it more than me, obviously. What **bleep**! I will never use Verizon again and will tell others the same.
