May 14th, I initiated a return and I followed Verizon’s instructions to the “T” regarding the return, my the 14plus was sent back to them in pristine condition.
May 16th, verizon sent me an email saying they had received my return and once it was processed (Inspected) I would receive my refund.
May 19th, verizon sent me an email saying my return was processed and it was now complete a refund had been issued.
May 26th, verizon sent me an email saying my return was not received, and that they were charging me $1150 for the missing phone.
- I called VW customer care and the supervisor told me it was because “find my iPhone” was NOT turned off on my returned device and that is why they were charging me for it. , I told him that wasn’t true, and sent him an email of the screenshot showing find my iPhone was turned off the day before the phone was sent back, but that Apple chose to keep the device listed on my account for 30 days as a security measure. VW rep agreed to issue me a bill credit for the amount of th device, he sent me an email to confirm our conversation. However I never received my credit, and never heard back from verizon. They have now charged me $1150 for a phone that they have in their possession. This is a common occurance with verizon, they are a giant corporate ssccaam. I have provided screenshots to evidence my statements
