My service recently got sent to collections because I was unable to pay my bill for the last several months due to personal issues, I went to the Verizon store 2 days ago to ask them a few questions about how much I need to pay to get my phone turned back on, they called customer service and they told them I needed to pay the full amount of my bill (254$), I went in today and payed the full amount (254$)and talked to the dude about getting it turned back on, I left the store after I payed the full amount and the guy told me it should be on in about 15 minutes etc. I get home about 30-45 minutes later and it's still not on, this was about 2 hours ago, and my service is not on, I went to my account and logged in and now it says my account is deactivated and that I owe the full amount of my phone and that my service is turned off and will stayed turned off, I payed 254$ to get it back on and now it says I have to pay what I owe on my phone and get no service. Someone please help.

Did you make the payment at a corporate store or a third party retailer? Usually if the line was disconnected, there is also a reconnection fee that also has to be paid with the past due amount. Did you pay that amount?
I'm most definitely NOT a VZW employee. If a post answered your question, please mark it as the answer.
