Service interruption

I woke up to my Verizon account being suspended because of a month and a half of missed payments. I have a been a Verizon customer for almost 3 years and I can’t even get into contact with a real person to talk about it. I start a new job next week and these last couple of months have been rough so it saddens me that a company that I have never had problems paying my bill on time would do this to me in my time of need
