I moved from New York to New Jersey a few months ago, and when I transferred my account to my new apartment, no one told me that I needed to cancel my NY account (I guess it's not a true "transfer"), so Verizon billed me for both accounts. After spending far too long on the phone with some very rude people, I finally talked to a nice lady who ordered a refund for my NY account. That was back in June. I received an email saying I'd be credited the money by the end of July, and it's now August 9th and I haven't seen any of the money I'm owed.
To make matters worse, I noticed on my last bill that I'm being charged for Double Play. I don't even know what that is, but it's about $30 more than I'm supposed to be spending. All I want is the internet!
I can't talk to anyone on the phone because of the workers' strike. Would calling the corporate office get me any results?
