I switched service 3/22/2023 away from Verizon (at a significant cost savings per month). My last bill was 3/17/2023-4/16/2023 at a cost of $102.06. Even if you give Verizon the full day 3/22 the refund total should have been $85.05 for the period 3/23/2023-4/16-2023. It has been over 90 days since the switch. Lovely that Verizon gets to use your money to gain interest for themselves for 100+ days.
