I was recently refunded the $7.00 late fee; however, Verizon didn't refund the $1.25 in taxes. I contacted Verizon thru Messenger and they said they couldn't refund it. I responded I'm being charged taxes on something I didn't purchase. Please tell me how I may request the refund. I know it isn't much, but not only is it a lot to some, this may be happening to others and appears to be fraudulent. I'm a new customer and overall, this and other issues I've had from the beginning have been very unpleasant. Thank you for your time.
FutureDoctorStudent If a charge is refunded on your bill, any taxes associated with it will be deducted on the next bill. We are not able to refund taxes as these funds do not go to us. ~Peter
