Teacher Discount not working

I am quite disappointed. I have had VZW for over 10 years and I switched to Fios in June and since I have done so everything has messed up. 1

First issue: I was not able to log into My Verizon for the bios app for over three weeks. An agent was able to help and when she did so it created the second issue. 

Second issue: The teacher discount was removed from my wireless account due to creating an entirely new profile and my bill jumped $30 for three months and counting.  I was finally able to add the discount back on today but it will take 1-2 billing cycles before it takes effect. 

Third issue: Every time I try to add the teacher discount to my Fios bill, I am being told fios is not available in the area. I have had support both with via chat and on the phone and still have no resolve. 

At this point, I think I'm losing money by making this switch to Fios.
