Trade-In Credit Issue

In September of 2022, I was told I would get $1,000 for my phone if I traded it in (around $27 per month for 36 months off my bill) and I have not seen one dime of that trade-in credit since I did it.

I got the shipping box from my local Verizon store, did all of the things to the phone that were required before shipping, and shipped the phone to Verizon.

I later got an email that they received my phone and it was being processed.

I didn't hear anything again from Verizon so I called. The person tried to tell me that they never received my phone.  I provided the tracking information and email that they did. They then said to give it another month to be processed, so I did.

I called again a month later and they told me it's been processed and I should see the credit reflected on my bill starting the next month.

I have called or have been in a text chat with Verizon almost every month since then. It's been over one year! Each time the person tells me they have submitted the forms or whatever they have to do it get it to apply to my account and to wait until the next month, and each time they ask me if I think they've done a good job and they clear my issue and nothing happens with my account.

At this point, I would just like my original phone back. It's absolutely ridiculous that I can't get in touch with someone who can handle this properly, and now I do not trust anyone that I speak to because not one person has helped me with getting my trade-in credit. 

I've seen others in this community with the same issue and if you google it that's all you read about. The trade-in deal is shady at best - do not do it!!!
