Has anyone had an issue with Verizon not "accepting" your trade in after following all requirements? We traded in 2 phones, handled exactly the same way, and they are claiming one is not eligible or some mess. My husband has had so many issues with that phone since he got it, we followed all the requirements, and now this! I received the credit for mine, but not his.
I have heard of other people having these same issues.

I would also share your concern if I had received a trade-in credit for one phone, but not the other, tkham. We would be happy to take a look into this. Normally, if there is an issue with a trade-in device, you would receive an email explaining any change in the expected trade-in value. What did you receive from us regarding the trade-in once it was received and assessed?

We received emails saying the items had been accepted, and then a later one that said my husband's phone was in "great shape", but then said he would be charged $20.28/mo for his new phone that should have been free.

Thank you for the information, tkham. We want to help find out what's going on with your husband's trade-in. To best assist, we'll be sending a Private Message.

Speculation, but either your husband's trade-in was not that valuable, or if it was a recent flagship model in terrific condition, something strange is going on. The final determination of what a trade-in is worth is in the hands of the people who receive the trade-ins at the warehouse, not the sales people offering the promotions.
I'm not a Verizon employee, just another customer trying to help.

thanks.
All the paperwork I signed, says the trade ins for both phones would make the new phones free. Our monthly service increased some (as it always does!) but otherwise there shouldn't be a charge.
