Trade-in Issues

I went to Verizon to trade in 2 iPhone 11’s I have and was told I could get an $800 trade in value for each iPhone and I would pay $10.27 monthly for each phone for 36 months that cost $1199 in total. I went ahead and did that deal with the trade in and ended up leaving paying for 2 iphone cases that cost me $70 each and 2 screen protectors that cost $60 each plus $90 a month for each phone bill when i was told i would do the $70 Unlimited Plus monthly. I was also told I would be paying $173 a month for the phones and the phone service bill  together and when I went to check my receipts and billing plan it says i’m going to be paying $246 a month. The associate that attended me at Verizon never explained any prices to me of anything on how much the cases and stuff were or how much i would pay a month which says i’m paying $33.33 a month each phone when it was supposed to be $10.27 each phone a month so i’m getting charged full price on both phones even though i got the $800 trade in? Help me understand.

We always want to make sure we're being 100% transparent when you're making a purchase anywhere with Verizon, and we're glad you'll be taking advantage of that great $800.00 trade-in promotion! Those trade-in promotions can take 1 or 2 bill cycles to show up, but once they do, the credits are applied retroactively.

Just to be sure, how long has it been since you upgraded and turned in those devices?

I filed a FCC complaint and Verizon fixed the issue within hours.
