Trade in credit issue

I traded in my iphone 12 back in June and at first was getting my trade in credit then out of the blue I got an email saying the device was returned in time which it was.  Now I get the run around from customer service saying they will call me back and they are so concerned about getting my credit applied back and never hear anything back.  I was even told one time the warehouse checked it in late or something and that I was going to get the value of the phone which was $225 as a gift certificate and to keep that when it arrives and they would still give me my credit.  Yea right!! I have even contacted a supervisor and all that person said was wait another 10-12 days and I would hear back.  If it takes you that long to fix a billing issue you need to find another job!  At this point I'm looking to switch to another carrier because Verizon trade in program is a joke!  Buyers beware!  I tell everybody I know to stay away from Verizon!
