What happens to the trade in credit balance if a customer switches carriers? For example, a trade in was used to purchase a new iPhone and credits have been applied to the monthly service bill and there are 26 months of credits left. What happens to those 26 credits if someone closes their account to switch carriers? Thanks.

That's a great question. The remaining credits would be lost if the device is switched to another carrier or if the device is paid off. If the market value of the device is higher than the credits that were already provided, you would receive that difference as a credit to your account.
