Upgraded my Apple iPhone XS for an iPhone 14 on 8/20/23 only because of a trade in promotion that would credit my account so my new phone would be free. To this date, the trade in credit has not been applied.
I have called many times explaining my issue. Every customer service rep that I have spoken to has kept me on the phone for an average of one hour, searching for my trade in phone, proving that it was received by them, checking my account. After going through all the logistics and confirming that Verizon does have my trade in phone since 8/28/23 then we move on to the excuses of why the trade in credit has not been posted, such as, a promotion fallout form needs to be submitted, marketing code not attached to my phone, loyalty credit will be posted today manually (12/19/23).
My January bill was received and there is no loyalty credit and no trade in credit. . I am beyond frustrated and even looking into switching over to another carrier.
Beware when trading in a phone……
I have no idea what to do next.
