I traveled to Nigeria for an occasion with Verizon travel pass. I only used my phone to call for only two days by dialing back to the US. Verizon charged me for long distance call to (Vietnam, Austria, China, and Afghanistan) without me initiating a call to those countries. Looking at my bills, there was no direct calls to those countries, and even the country code was not on the bill but a toll-free number as well as a Nigeria number. I even explained to the customer service and his manager, and all I was told was that the calls came from my phone number and that is final. How could a call with a toll-free number became a direct call to Vietnam, China, Austria and Afghanistan? Now I have to pay $745 for using my phone for only two days. This is the highest level of rip off.

I, too, would be shocked if I had received a higher than expected bill upon returning for a trip out of the country, Ladeaji. That is odd that the bill did not show those long distance calls on the call log, and we would like to take a fresh look into this. Please be on the lookout for a private note from us for help.
