Unable to Apply Verizon Dollars

For the past few months, I have been unable to apply my Verizon Dollars to my bill. I have a bill balance and I have a Verizon Dollars balance.  When I click on "Go to bill payment" under the "Save on your next wireless bill" section of the Verizon phone application, I would normally be presented with a user interface that allows me to pay with my credit card and/or use my Verizon Dollars. However, now the user interface will display my Verizon Dollars, but will only give me the option to pay with my credit card. 

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both the Synchrony Verizon Credit Card phone application and the Verizon phone application. I have also tried to use the Verizon web application. None of these have worked so far to correct the problem.

Not only that, but after searching online for a solution, I have noticed that several other people have the same problem. I have yet to see a solution to this issue or a workaround to avoid it.

To note; I am specifically speaking about Verizon Dollars, not the outdated Device Dollars that cannot be used to pay a Verizon bill. I have also been using Verizon Dollars to pay my Verizon bill for over 2 years now, so I do know how to navigate to the interface that would normally allow me to use my Verizon Dollars on my bill.

I am having this same issue. Has there been any updates? This was working fine before now I'm stuck with no way to pay my bill with my Verizon Dollars. I clearly have a balance of Verizon Dollars but it took away the option to pay with them.

We're sorry to hear that you're having problems making payment using your Verizon Dollars balance. To pay online,

  • In the My Verizon app, or through My Verizon - Choose Bill from the top menu, then choose Payment options. If you have Verizon Dollars, you'll see the option to apply them to your bill

You can also try making a payment in-store or calling #PMT from your mobile phone to make a payment using the automated system.

Please show me how/where to apply my Verizon dollars? When I type in $11.53 in the Payment Amount box it wants to charge my Verizon credit card that amount. The website shows I have an available Verizon Dollars amount but gives me no way to apply them to the balance. Please help.

Did anyone encounter a solution to this? Having the same issue.  Use my Verizon Credit Card all the time but unable to apply to my wireless bill.  Very frustrating.  Was working fine for several years.

I recently starting using my Verizon Visa card and have the same problem reported here since April 2023.

I am unable to apply Verizon dollars from my Verizon Visa card to my Verizon bill. 

 

I see from previous answers, that a Private Message may be required to fix this.
