Unable to make payment

I’ve had this issue several times throughout the past couple years. It seems like an issue that Verizon has  developed resolution to. Today I tried to make a payment on the My Verizon app for my phone bill. I received a rejection message “We are sorry we are unable to process the request through the system at this time.” or something along those lines either way, I deleted my card information and tried it again and the was the same. I then tried to make a payment over the phone. Yet, again the same issue arose, They were unable to process the request. I attempted  calling a Customer service line and they tried to get me to purchase a device (not a phone). The person (Jessica) I was speaking with would not even let me finish what I was saying or explain my situation so that they could properly assist me or direct me to the proper department, They continued to speak over me the whole time and I couldn’t even get a word in. I understand that there is a high call volume and this is a large business provides services to make money. I am sick and tired of being hit with late fees because of an issue that cannot seem to be fixed. I have the money to pay my phone bill. Like always I’m trying to pay the bill on time to avoid late charges/fees. This has been an ongoing issue for me and at this point I am considering switching service providers.

If dialing #PMT doesn't work, have you tried the one-time payment site which doesn't require logging into My Verizon?
