Unacceptable Runaround--"Buds on Us" Promo

Never have I experienced such a runaround as I have with this promotion. I am truly disappointed that Verizon seems unwilling to honor the offer that they so enthusiastically promoted during my visit in November 2022. I have visited various stores, spent hours on the phone and on social media looking for answers--and the earbuds promised--only to be told that "Verizon has stopped honoring this promotion and that they are denying all submissions related to it." I have been chasing these earbuds for six months now. I don't even know if I would have  liked them, or if they would have functioned at all, but now it's the principle of the situation. How does a company get away with such behavior?
