I have just received a marketing email for some football related nonsense. After double checking I can confirm that my account settings are to not receive any marketing email.
Verizon: never do that again. Both Comcast and RCN are available on my street and I will drop you like a hot potato.
This issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent.
