VERIZON CONTRACT BUY OUT

Verizon tells you to switch to them with a promise of Early Termination Fee Reimbursement but makes it impossible to submit the paperwork.

The website is broken. 

I have the same problem as all of these people.

and then when you finally get somone to submit a support ticket you get this typical verizon response

I finally got someone in sales to upload by previous carrier bill and submit the contract buyout forms using some internal form.

and this is the email repsone from veizon 

Thank you for submitting your documentation for the Verizon Wireless 5G Home Contract Buyout Program.  We are unable to process your bill credit at this time due to incomplete information.   
 
Please re-submit your final bill with the following missing information: 
 
• Your name
• Please attach a picture or scanned copy of your final bill from your current provider that clearly displays the provider’s name, your name or address and the billed termination fee.
• This name or address should match the name on your Verizon  account.

What kinda of shady bait and switch is Verizon running here.   Verizon makes it impossible to submit bill because website is broken https://myvpostpay.verizon.com/ui/acct/secure/buyout#/
 
then when you do submit bill verizon rejects it from a donotreply email address saying no name and no bill submitted. 
 
im sure when i finally get it submitted Verizon will reject it saying offer expired been more than 60 days.

VERIZON just settlted a law suit in which Verizon was doing the same shady business practices.

I am having this same issue with the ETF Buyout form not working. Spent 3 hours on the phone with customer service in-store, online, and over the phone on 1/20/24 before they submitted a ticket to the developers and said it would be fixed in 24-48 hours. 8 days on and the website still does not work.

This feels like fraud based on the runaround I continue to get when trying to rightfully claim the offer promised.

Have you received the final bill from the previous internet provider with the ETF shown? When attempting the submission, are you using a computer browser? Clear cache and retry?

I had this same issue!  And today I finally got my resolution. You basically have to get someone on the phone that knows what they are doing. I ended up speaking to an online support person on here and them a pdf of my last bill. Then I scheduled a phone call for “other” and spoke to a wonderful support person from Arizona .  he was able to get my form processed.

Ive spent hours of my time trying to submit my bill for the contract buyout.  I was finally able to find someone in sales to submit my bill for the contract buyout using some internal verizon form.
 
3 days later I get this this email

FIle a complaint with the FCC  bait and switch.

That worked for me.

I am having the same issue, filed a ticket on this matter. When I go to the link to fill out the form, all I get is a blank page with nothing to fill out. I have tried using several web browsers and devices, but nothing seems to work. There is a deadline of 90 days to turn in the form with my last billing statement stating I closed the account within 30 days of starting the new Verizon 5G home internet. I have had no help on this matter, I even filed a ticket over a week ago to no avail. The link leads to a dead plank page, no form to fill out, this needs to be addressed.

Thank you for your efforts, Mariloca2, tickets usually take around 7-10 business days depending on the escalations path. Please let us know if you have not received an update after that time frame.

I have the same problem. Every time I submit a request, I receive an email from them saying that the early termination fee needs to be shown on the bill! The problem is that my former Internet provider cannot provide such a bill. How can I solve this problem?

We don't want you to miss out on this great deal. In this case, the last bill that your provider sends will have the early termination fee, which you can upload once they have disconnected your service.

I have exactly the same issue...... It's completely bonkers that the form has not been fixed. Countless phone calls and chats, I've yet been able to submit the form. I'm now stuck with a $300 early termination fee that Verizon promised to pay. Oh and the icing on the cake is that I haven't been able to claim any of my free promos. I'm having deep regrets.

This is still going on! I got transferred 5 times! Just trying to hold my bill for this payout. This is disgusting.

I spent 2 hours being passed around.

I can't find anywhere to upload my bill. I spent two hours! chatting with 5 reps and one supervisors. I'm glad I took screenshot. 

Can someone please help me?

I have the same issue. Your form clearly does not work. You've had over a year to fix it according to forum posts. It seems a clear waste of time to try to call customer service to be passed around endlessly.

I request an immediate private message customer service follow up like other customers have received above. I owe Comcast/ Xfinity $220 and I have the PDF receipt. 

I will be filing an FCC claim immediately to address this. This is terrible form by Verizon. Get your act together with this website. My Verizon - 5G contract buyout
