Verizon $100 gift card

I received an email today saying I was eligible to redeem my $100 Verizon gift card. When I clicked on the button to redeem now it took me to My rewards page but did not have anywhere to claim the card. I was not sure if I'm supposed to claim the card online or just click it to redeem it and then get it by mail... I am not able to now go forward anymore very frustrating!
