On May 5, 2023, we purchased a Samsung 23 for my husband, with a trade-in promotion of $800 for his Samsung 21 Ultra 5G. The new phone was on backorder and not received for several weeks, approximately May 21, 2023. There was no return packing material with the new phone delivery. Therefore, the packing material, packing slip, and label to return the trade-in had to be requested, twice.
The day after we received the packing material, we returned the trade-in phone to Verizon on June 17, 2023, we have the UPS receipt - tracking number 1Z1X96669005646261. The proof of delivery, of which we also have a copy, shows the package received by Verizon on June 23, 2023, at 10:21 a.m. To date, after five phone calls, Verizon has failed to credit us after being told twice that they would, and is now, 10/23/2023, claiming the phone was not received within 30 days of ordering the new phone.
I have filed a claim with the New Jersey Better Business Bureau. Also, if Verizon wants to continue to claim that we are not eligible for the credit, per the last customer service rep, we would like you to please return our property - the Samsung 21 Ultra 5G. Thank you.

ScarletLV, it never hurts to take a look at a situation with a fresh set of eyes. We can certianly do that with the trade-in. To help with that, we've sent a Private Note to get into further details.
