Verizon has turned me into collections over a phone they lost at their warehouse and couldn't check in for 2 weeks. Confirmed over phone calls and customer service they had the phone but "lost it to check it in at our warehouse" and now has me in collections for $1505. I called for a year straight. Customer service apologized and tried to help me. They will never see a dime from me for a phone they couldn't find at their warehouse I returned properly which then they found!!!

Crystallajuan86, so sorry to hear you feel this way as we want to do all we can to resolve this issue for you. May I ask, have you spoken to the collection's agency yet?

Yes. I spoke with them from May 2023-November 2023. I have also spoken with customer service for the entire year of 2023, store associates have called for me to try to resolve in when I have gone in person. I had a customer service Manager, Dan, who thought he could get it resolved. I have been turned into 3 collection agencies, the first 2 dropped it after I wrote my letters. Now I have a third that I won't speak to that bought my collection from yall. No one will help me. Everyone had apologized and last, I was told to write the corporate office. I'm done writing and calling. I've spent hours and it's still on my credit report.

Crystallajuan86, thank you again for this info. I know this has not been the experience we would ever want for any of our customers. The problem we face is that once an account is placed in collections, you must then only communicate with that agency for further assistance.

Yes and I was promised it would never go to collections for 6 months. I have communicated with them and your collections department who was rude to your own associates muchless me. Yall lost my phone at your warehouse, found it and scanned it in then charged me. Verizon will never see a dime from me. That little $1505 Verizon wants is never going yo happen. Give me the phone back and I'll pay it.
