I paid for a phone that I never received and the only way I can complete the transaction is to pay the $700 and wait to get refunded the $700 I already paid. So I told them cancel the transfer I will stay with my previous carrier and they tell me they can't that the phone number I am was trying to port over now belongs to Verizon even though it was never ported and I never received the device I paid for. I was with my other carrier since 2007 so I don't want to have to get a new phone number so now I am screwed. I have wasted 12 plus hours on chat or the phone with customer service and went in to the store and got no resolution. Never choose Verizon as your carrier stick with who you have because anyone is better than Verizon. When you are in the chat they just all of sudden transfer you to someone else with out saying anything and you have to start over. You randomly get disconnected and have to start over, it is frustrating and basically useless. I had transferred 3 phones total at the same time and the other 2 phones arrived but never worked properly due to Verizon not porting them over correctly so I had to go to the store to get that fixed. So basically I purchased 4 phones one as an upgrade and 3 as transfers from another carrier and had problems with all 4. I am so angry and frustrated because we have no recourse because Verizon doesn't care. Should have stuck with the carrier I had since 1999 but was trying to get my kids and my husband and I all with one company. Big mistake.
